How to Shop In-Store with PayJustNow
You can use PayJustNow to shop in-store at select retail partners using the Scan to Pay option— just look out for the PayJustNow logo on the store’s door or at the till.
Stores that accept in-store payments are labeled as “In-store” in our store directory.
Scan to pay is only available on the Native App, (it is not available in the browser).
What You Need to Get Started
To shop in-store using PayJustNow, you’ll need to:
- Download the PayJustNow App
The Scan to Pay feature is only available in the app — it does not work in the web browser mode. - Log in to your profile using the app.
Your In-Store Experience May Vary
Different stores use different systems, so your checkout experience might not always be the same. If it’s your first time shopping at a store that offers PayJustNow, we recommend asking the cashier how the process works before you begin.
Here are some of the ways you might be prompted to scan and pay:
- A QR code displayed on a cardboard stand near the shelf or checkout counter
- A QR code shown on a screen at the point of sale
- A QR code printed on your till slip
- A QR code displayed on the credit card terminal
- A QR code shown on a phone or tablet using the PayUp app (used by store staff)
Enter the Purchase Amount First
In most cases, you will need to enter the full purchase amount in the PayJustNow app before you see the available instalment plan. Once the amount is confirmed, you can proceed with the payment.
