How to add a new card?

Modified on Tue, 27 May at 12:03 PM

To use PayJustNow for your purchases, you need to have a valid card linked to your profile. Follow the steps below to add a new card and complete the required security checks.

How to Add a New Card to Your PayJustNow Profile

  • Log in to your PayJustNow profile
Sign in using your username and password.
  • Navigate to “Cards”
    You can do this by:
  • Selecting “Cards” from the main menu

  • Add a New Card

    • Tap “Add a New Card.”

    • Enter your card details as prompted.

  • Authenticate with Your Bank (3D Secure)
After submitting your card details, you will be redirected to your bank's 3D Secure page.
This process ensures the card is being registered by the rightful owner. Your bank may request you to:

    • Approve the registration through your banking app, or

    • Enter a One-Time Password (OTP) sent via SMS.

  • Set your default card
    • If you register more than one card, set your default card. The black dot next to the card indicates the default card is set

    • The default card is the card we will debit on your next instalment date.

What did my card registration fail?

  • Avoid repeated failed attempts
If multiple unsuccessful attempts are made to register your card, the PayJustNow system may temporarily block further registration attempts.

  • Why we limit retries
PayJustNow is free to use — no interest, no hidden fees — as long as you pay on time. However, each card registration attempt, whether successful or not, incurs a cost for us. To keep the service free for everyone, we limit repeated failed attempts.

  • No card = No payment options
If your profile does not have an active card, you will not see any available installment plans. Be sure to add a valid card to access PayJustNow payment options.

What is 3D Secure?

3D Secure is an additional layer of security used by banks to protect you from fraud during online transactions. It requires you to verify your identity before your card can be successfully registered.

If you do not receive an SMS or do not get a prompt in your banking app, your bank may be declining the registration. Common reasons include:

  • Your card is not enabled for recurring online payments.

  • Your card is not enrolled in 3D Secure.

Unfortunately, PayJustNow cannot resolve these issues directly. Only your bank can assist. Please contact your bank to ensure that:

  • Your card is enabled for online and recurring transactions.

  • Your 3D Secure settings are correctly configured.

If your card is confirmed to be eligible and ready for online registration, but you're still unable to add it, please reach out to our support team. We'll assist you in identifying and resolving any other issues that may be preventing the registration.
